Request an energy assessment

The first step toward savings is a comprehensive energy assessment – a review of your lighting, HVAC, insulation, and other energy-consuming equipment in your building. The next step is to review the analyst's recommendations and decide what qualifying building envelope improvements you would like to install. The analyst is usually a general contractor - but even you can make the changes.

If you decide to install a high efficiency air conditioner and/or furnace to take advantage of the EnergyWorks KC program (for only residents of Kansas City), contact KCP&L and MGE preferred HVAC specialist. Once your qualifying improvements are installed, the energy analyst will perform a second, post audit, to verify the improvements and safety of your combustion appliances.
